Elementary News
Well we thought winter was back... While we wish we could be on the mountain this week there was plenty of busy good fun and learning here in the school building. We are ever hopeful that this coming week will be a ski and on campus activity week! More soon...
Our further dive into Leader in Me continues with all of our classrooms working on individual and classroom goals. They will be collecting data to support growth towards these goals. We look forward to supporting all of our students as they grow!
Thank you families for continuing to come support our LiM assembly series where we highlight student learning, achievement, and leadership! We plan to be back again next Friday 2/17 to celebrate our students before the well deserved Winter Break.

Middle School News
This week students have spent time on different science projects. Some classes have included practicing the scientific method, others have explored electromagnetism and some have designed their own experiments.
Next Friday students are ready to lead their own MS Winter Carnival. An elected committee of middle school students have planned and created fun activities to fill our day with friendly team bonding and competition.

High School News
Important news:
We are excited to move forward with our strategic plan as we work to be innovative and guide our students in their learning. In order to do this, we want to make a shift towards a student driven schedule. Meaning instead of saying, here are the classes we have to offer and want to teach please make your choice, we are asking students to be drivers in their own education. We want to hear clearly what works for your learning and your long term and short term goals. For the 2023/2024 school year we plan to make progress in this model. Prior to February break students will take a short survey to help us move forward. I want all families to have the questions so you may discuss together over the next few days. Please see the survey questions below. I look forward to sharing out data and moving forward together in this process. Please reach out with any questions. Thank you, Kate
