Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are looking forward to our Fall Season of learning and community gatherings! As the leaves drop and our community shows it's colors, we will explore our natural surroundings through outdoor learning. Many classes throughout our school are scheduled to go on extended learning opportunities and walking field trips.
Our school is also proud to welcome back alumni and our community partners during our homecoming events, athletic matches, school functions and community festivities. We look forward to seeing you out and about.
Sincerely,
Sergio Simunovic, Colleen DeSchamp, and Kate Ryan

LOH ON LOCATION IS COMING TO WINDSOR!
Lebanon Opera House presents comedian Brian Glowacki
Friday, October 13, 7:30 pm
Lois White Theater, Windsor
Brian “B Glow” Glowacki’s comedy feels like home. The Nantucket native’s playful style has propelled him from small town class clown to nationwide crowd favorite.
B Glow’s sharp observations on life landed him the coveted opening slot for comedian Bob Marley and he recently made waves as the first local independent comedian to headline the historic Wilbur Theatre in Boston.
Through his comedy, Glowacki proves that we can all remain devoted to family, friends, and our careers — while leaving room to get a little rowdy!
Recommended for ages 18+; general admission seating.

Elementary News
Another great school week here at Windsor in PK-5! I am deeply proud of this school community for coming together everyday! This week we have been digging deep into new learning and working together as a community.
Please join us if you can on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month in the theater @ 8:15 for our LiM assembly going forward! We are so proud of our Windsor School leaders and are excited to share what they are up to with all of you! We are back on for assembly this coming Friday 10/6. Hope to see you there...
We are always thrilled to see you all in the morning at drop off! We do ask however that parents remain in the lobby or outside for all drop offs, beginning of the day and those arriving later. If students need help getting to their classroom, school staff are happy to assist. Thank you all for your help with this!
An important note: The school day begins at 8. We have supervision on the playground and for indoor breakfast in the Elementary cafeteria/gym starting at 7:40am. Please remind your student(s) that if they are here at school between 7:40-8:00am they will need to be in one of these two supervised spaces. School dismissal is 2:30 Many thanks in advance for the support!

Middle School News
This past week the MS team recognized some amazing student leaders for their academic success. Congratulations to Madigan Rich, Sheamus Magrath and Sofia Williams! We are proud of their contributions in the areas of teamwork, positive attitude, and modeling school expectations.
Student Choice Clubs are up, running and moving along! We are glad to highlight the cooking club this week as the group uses their leadership skills to collaborate with our Food Services Staff and share in our school's kitchen resources. Some recent tasty snacks included Rice Krispie treats and quick breads.
Leader in Me Habits have been shared with all of our students and now we are looking for parents to help us recognize these leadership skills outside of the classroom too. Please feel free to take a minute to tell us about some habits your child excels at when at home. 7 Habits Survey
Getting to Y is an opportunity for students to work with the data from their own Youth Risk Behavior Survey results. Middle School leaders are invited to attend a training in White River Junction on October 19th with some of our HS students. Please email cdeschamp@wsesu.net if your student is interested in joining this experience. Click here for more info.
